Role Description
At Movenpick Hotels, ensuring our guests' and visitors' safety and well-being is an integral part of our operations. The Individual in this position is responsible for overseeing the Pool areas of the recreation department and attending to the guest's needs during his stay, providing personal service in assistance; your attentiveness and commitment to safe practices will facilitate enjoyable aquatic and waterside experiences for our guests.
What you will be doing:
Responsible for the safety of the guests in the designated swimming areas during business hours
• Maintain the cleanliness of the pool and ensure that the facilities are in good condition.
• Help guests and make proper recommendation on other hotel services.
Your experience and skills include:
• Service focused personality is essential and previous experience in a similar role is an asset
• Must have the required certifications and training as per local laws.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for service
Role Requirements
Your experience and skills include:
Previous experience as a Lifeguard / Pool attendant preferred
Certification in CPR First Aid preferred
Highly responsible & reliable
Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
Good communication skills in addition to a good command of the English Language
Team player, highly responsible and reliable
Knowledge of detergents and pool cleaning methods
