This position is responsible for the smooth and efficient daily operation of the Spa, providing safe and optimum level of service to guests.
What you will be doing:
Maintain thorough knowledge of products for each treatment/therapy and to perform quality massage therapies and body treatments as prescribed in Standard Training Manual
Maintain cleanliness and report deficiencies of any spa equipment with service function at all time
Ensures therapist administration is completed at the end of each day (guest records, stock lists and updates of the log book)
Monitors status of all equipment and notify the supervisor if there are any maintenance or repair needs. Promptly records equipment issues in the log book i.e. fixtures missing, etc, and notify the maintenance personnel.
Ensures effective liaison between spa therapists and receptionists
Explain and promote all spa facilities, services and activities
Ensure that inventory of all spa amenities and toiletries are well stocked at all times
Direct guests to appointments and attend to their needs in every way possible
Maintain accurate records as required by hotel and government regulations
Follow procedures in the spa policy/procedure manual
Your experience and skills include:
Good communication and customer contact skills
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience
Certification in massage therapy, aesthetics or diploma from a recognized school of alternative therapy
Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English Language
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
